Board Member-at-Large: Zenith Isidor | Zenith.Isidor63@myhunter.cuny.edu
My name is Zenith Y. Isidor Gabriel. I attended Lehman College where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in social work in 2016. I am currently a graduate student at Silberman School of Social Work with a concentration on clinical practice with individuals, families, and groups and a field of practice specialization in child welfare. I am the first member of my family to come this far in furthering my education, which is my daily motivation to persist and accomplish my goal. As a Mexican immigrant, I have been part of organizations where I have experienced the lack of resources the Mexican community and people of color face in striving to create a better future for themselves and families. As a result, I am committed to encourage others to participate and make their voices be heard for the change they want to have. My long-term goal is to develop my own organization, where I can provide the necessary resources and support to high school age adolescents who face different challenges in their daily lives, and ultimately wish to accomplish a specific goal.
